Manage Stores
Open, create, review, and safely manage the stores in a workspace.
What this covers: You will open the correct store and understand the available card actions before using them.
The workspace store-card page shows the store projects you can access. Use it to enter a project, start a new store, open its settings, or review a destructive action before confirming it.
Entry path: Workspace sidebar → Stores → My Store.
Before you start
- Confirm the workspace name and your access before creating, opening, or deleting a store.
- Check the current store limit before starting another project.
- Treat deletion as permanent unless Runner explicitly shows a recoverable state.
Store controls
| Control | Why it is useful | What happens when selected |
|---|---|---|
| Store preview image or store name | Opens that store's project. | Runner navigates to the project's current conversation or project home. |
| + Store | Starts another store project. | Opens Create Store, where available. |
| Admin | Opens the store-management area. | Runner opens the store's general admin area when your access allows it. |
| Settings | Changes settings for that store. | Opens project settings in the current workspace context. |
| Delete | Starts store removal. | Opens a confirmation that requires the complete store name. Nothing is removed until confirmed. |
| Upgrade or plan message | Explains why another store cannot be added. | Opens the relevant plan path when the workspace is at its current store limit. |
Open an existing store
- Select Stores in the workspace sidebar.
- Under My Store, find the intended store name.
- Check its status badge.
- Select the preview image or store name.
- Confirm the project name before sending a new request.
Create another store
- Select + Store on the store-card page or the + beside Store in the expanded sidebar.
- In Create Store, choose Build new or Connect Shopify when both paths are available.
- Enter the required Store Name.
- Complete the selected path.
- Runner opens the new project after creation succeeds.
See Create a Runner store and Connect Shopify for the complete paths.
Delete a store carefully
- Open the store card's actions.
- Choose Delete.
- Read the confirmation and verify the store name.
- Enter the complete store name only when this is the intended target.
- Cancel if the store, conversations, or project work should remain available.
Deletion is destructive.
Troubleshooting
| State | Meaning | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Loading indicator | Runner is retrieving workspace stores. | Wait before selecting or creating a store. |
| Empty workspace | No store card is available yet. | Use the creation prompt to start the first store. |
| Failed to load projects | Existing store information could not be retrieved. | Keep the workspace open and reload once. |
| Upgrade path replaces creation | The workspace has reached its current store limit. | Review plan access or ask the workspace owner. |
| Renewal screen | The workspace is not currently active. | Choose Renew Plan if authorized, or switch workspaces. |
| Recently Deleted or bulk selection appears | A conditional management feature is enabled for this workspace. | Follow its on-screen confirmation; do not expect it in every workspace. |
