Apps and integrations
Find, connect, and manage the services your Runner store and Agent can use.
Apps brings your store services and optional Agent Apps into one place. Use it when you want Runner to accept payments, send store emails, work with shipping or fulfillment providers, connect Shopify, or let the Agent use another service.
Open Apps
From an open store, select Apps in the project navigation.
Entry path: Project → Apps
The page can show two sections:
- Store Apps contains the services used by the storefront and store operations.
- Agent Apps contains services the Runner Agent can use while working for you.
Agent Apps and Shopify are conditional. They may be hidden or unavailable for some workspaces. Provider requirements can also prevent a visible card from being connected.
Page controls
| Control or state | Why it is useful | What happens next |
|---|---|---|
| Search apps | Finds a service without scanning every card. | Runner filters both visible app sections. Clearing the field restores the list. |
| Connect | Starts a new connection. | Runner opens the provider-specific credentials dialog or authorization flow. The connection is not complete until the card changes state. |
| Connecting... | Shows that Runner is processing the request. | The action stays unavailable until the request succeeds, fails, or is cancelled outside Runner. |
| Connected or a connected action | Confirms that Runner recognizes the connection. | Provider-specific cards can expose a dashboard link, disconnect control, switch, or management dialog. |
| Manage | Opens an existing Agent App connection. | You can review its tools or disconnect it. |
| Reconnect | Repairs a connection that needs authorization again. | Runner restarts the provider's connection flow. |
| Pending review | Shows that Stripe is still reviewing the account. | Wait for the status to change or follow any action request shown on the card. |
| Delete or Disconnect | Removes a connection after confirmation. | The provider-specific warning explains which projects and future actions will be affected. |
Connect an app safely
- Open Project → Apps.
- Search for the service or find it under Store Apps or Agent Apps.
- Select Connect.
- Read the dialog before entering a domain, API key, secret, or provider credentials.
- Complete any authorization step on the provider's site.
- Return to Apps and check the card. Treat only a confirmed connected state, such as a connected badge or connected controls, as a completed connection.
- If Runner shows Reconnect, Pending review, or an action notice, follow that state instead of repeating the initial setup blindly.
Never paste API keys or secrets into a Runner chat. Enter them only in the integration dialog that asks for them.
