Personal Settings and Workspaces

Change your profile and language, review workspace memberships, and create another workspace.

Personal settings affect your own Runner account. The Workspaces page lets you inspect another workspace's settings or create a new workspace without mixing those controls with one store.

What this covers

You will be able to change your name, avatar, and interface language, and safely identify which workspace settings you are viewing.

Availability and prerequisites

  • You must be signed in.
  • Your email is displayed but read-only in the current My Settings page.
  • Workspace creation and membership actions can be limited by account permission or current workspace state.

Entry paths

  • Profile: avatar → Settings → Personal → My Settings
  • Workspace list: avatar → Settings → Personal → Workspaces

  2. Edit Name and wait for Saved.
  3. Select the avatar to open the picker, review the preview, and save it.

Workspaces controls

Entry or buttonWhy it is usefulWhat happens next
Workspace cardIdentify a workspace by name, displayed plan, and member count. The row remains read-only until you choose an action.
SettingsInspect a different workspace without closing the dialog. The dialog switches to that workspace's settings. It is disabled for the workspace already shown.
New WorkspaceCreate another workspace. The workspace-creation dialog opens; after success, Settings shows the new workspace.

The Personal Workspaces list does not provide the current visible Leave action. To leave an eligible workspace, use Workspace → Members → Leave.

Review or create a workspace

  1. Open Personal → Workspaces.
  2. Confirm the workspace name, plan label, and member count.
  3. Select Settings on another workspace to inspect its settings in the same dialog.
  4. To create one, select New Workspace and complete the creation dialog.
  5. Verify the new workspace name before adding members, stores, or billing details.

States and limits

  • An invalid or empty Name does not replace the saved name.
  • A language update keeps the control busy until persistence and navigation finish.
  • The current workspace's Settings button is disabled because it is already open.
  • Workspace cards can load plan and member data after the list itself appears.
  • My Settings does not expose Security, sessions, or API-key controls; use their dedicated pages.

Troubleshooting

  • If the name returns to its earlier value, correct the validation issue and wait for Saved.
  • If avatar save fails, keep the picker open and retry with a supported selection.
  • If language does not change, wait for the current update to finish, then select it again once.
  • If you opened the wrong workspace's settings, return to Personal → Workspaces and select the intended card's Settings.
  • If you need to leave, open that workspace's Members page instead of looking for Leave here.
