Store General

Manage a store's identity, search preview, favicon, watermark, and danger zone.

Store General controls the current storefront rather than the whole workspace. Use it to rename the store, update its browser and search appearance, or review its deletion boundary.

What this covers

You will be able to update store identity fields, save a favicon, understand plan-gated watermark control, and avoid deleting the wrong store.

Availability and prerequisites

  • Open Settings from inside the intended project; otherwise the Store group is not shown.
  • Search fields require the store backend settings to load.
  • Removing the Runner watermark requires the plan shown beside that control.
  • Delete Store is destructive and requires the exact store name.

Entry path

Inside the intended project, select avatar → Settings → Store → General.

Update store identity

  1. Open Store → General and confirm the Associated Workspace and store Name.
  2. Edit Name, Page Title, or Description.
  3. Wait for Saved after each auto-save field.
  4. Check the browser-style preview beside the favicon section.

Page Title and Description enforce the current character limits shown by their fields. If a field stops accepting more text, shorten it rather than pasting around the limit.

Change the favicon

  1. Select the current favicon button.
  2. Choose Upload or AI-generated.
  3. For Upload, select an ICO, PNG, or SVG file under the displayed file-size limit.
  4. For AI-generated, enter an optional prompt and select Run it.
  5. Review the preview.
  6. Select Save to apply it. Closing the popover discards an unsaved preview.

States and limits

  • Auto-save fields show saving, success, or error feedback.
  • Favicon Upload rejects unsupported formats and oversized files.
  • Generating… and Uploading… are progress states; wait for a preview.
  • The watermark control can show a plan badge and block the change.
  • Delete Store stays unavailable until the project and its name are loaded.

Danger zone

Selecting Delete opens a confirmation that warns all store data will be lost. The final button remains disabled until you type the exact store name. Some accounts separately expose conditional recovery, but you must not rely on recovery when deciding to delete.

Troubleshooting

  • If the Store group is absent, reopen Settings from inside the project.
  • If a title or description reverts, correct its validation issue and wait for Saved.
  • If favicon upload fails, check type and size, then choose the file again.
  • If generated favicon creation fails, revise the prompt and retry only after the previous attempt ends.
  • If Remove Watermark is blocked, use the plan badge to review availability.
