Metrics and filters
Choose a reporting window and interpret the headline metrics in Runner Analytics.
Use the Analytics time filter to compare the same store metrics over a useful reporting window.
Entry path
Open a store project → Analytics → time-range selector at the top of the page.
Before you start
- Decide which question the period should answer: today’s activity, a recent week, or a broader month.
- Use one period consistently while comparing cards and charts.
- Remember that a partial current day is not directly comparable with a complete past day.
Controls and click results
| Control | What happens after you select it |
|---|---|
| Last 24 hours | Refreshes the dashboard with activity from the most recent day. |
| Last 7 days | Refreshes cards and charts for the recent week. This is the default view. |
| Last 30 days | Refreshes the page with a broader recent trend. |
| Summary metric card | Shows the metric for the active window; selecting a period changes the value shown. |
Compare a reporting period
- Open Analytics.
- Select the shortest range that still contains enough activity to answer your question.
- Read Sessions to understand the amount of traffic.
- Read GMV and Net Sales together to understand merchandise value and reported sales.
- Read Conversion Rate only after checking that sessions and purchases exist in the same period.
- Keep the selected range unchanged while comparing the charts below.
- Repeat with another window only when you need a broader or more recent view.
Reading the metrics safely
- A larger number is not automatically an improvement; traffic quality, refunds, and period length matter.
- A percentage can move sharply when the number of sessions is small.
- GMV and net sales answer different questions, so do not treat them as interchangeable.
- Runner reports the data available for the selected period; it does not forecast future results on this page.
Troubleshooting
| State | Meaning and next step |
|---|---|
| Selector changes but values remain empty | The new period also has no matching events. Try Last 30 days and confirm the store has traffic or orders. |
| Values change more than expected | Check whether the periods have different lengths or include an unusual order or refund. |
| Metric is unavailable | Confirm plan access and reload the page. If other Analytics sections also fail, contact support with the store and selected period. |
