Shipping

Add shipping destinations and choose flat, free, or price-based rates.

Configure where orders ship from, where customers can receive them, and how the checkout calculates shipping charges.

Why and when to use shipping settings

Set up shipping before testing checkout or making a physical product available to customers. Return when you add a fulfillment location, sell to a new country, or change the amount customers pay for delivery.

Availability and prerequisites

  • Create and save a Stock Location first.
  • Keep at least one saved Market region. When a default region exists, Runner can add a newly selected shipping destination to it when you save; without a default region, saving fails.
  • The shipping choices shown here are store rules. Carrier- or app-specific services can require a separate connection in Apps.
  • Digital, booking, supplier, or other special product flows can follow different fulfillment rules.

Open Shipping

Entry path: Workspace → choose a store → Store Operations → General → Shipping

If Runner shows a shipping setup alert, select Configure. It moves you to the Shipping section on General. Shipping is not a permanent item in the Store Operations sidebar.

Add a flat-rate or free option

  1. In General, confirm that a Market region and Stock Location are saved.
  2. Scroll to Shipping and select Add.
  3. Enter a clear Name, such as the delivery speed or method customers will recognize.
  4. Choose Ship to. Shipping options use the Stock Location saved in General; there is no separate Ship from selector in each row.
  5. Open Shipping cost.
  6. Choose Flat rate and enter a shipping price. Enter 0 when delivery should display as Free.
  7. Select Save in the dialog.
  8. Select the page-level Save and wait for the saved state.

Add price-based rates

  1. Open Shipping cost for the intended option.
  2. Choose Rate by price.
  3. Enter a minimum or maximum cart item total and the shipping price for that range.
  4. Select Add for each additional range.
  5. Make sure the ranges do not overlap and every row has a shipping price.
  6. Select Save in the dialog, then Save on General.

States and limits

  • Each price range needs at least a minimum or maximum cart item total.
  • Overlapping price ranges are rejected.
  • A shipping price is required for flat and price-based methods.
  • A destination without a saved region shows No region configured for this country.
  • When a default Market region exists, saving can add the selected destination country to that region automatically.
  • Dialog Save prepares the option on the page; use the General page's Save to persist the full settings change.

Troubleshooting

  • Please add a stock location first: Add and save one in General, then return to Shipping.
  • No default region is available: Create and save a Market region, then retry the General page Save.
  • Please save the stock location first: Use the General page Save, then reopen the shipping row.
  • Overlapping price ranges detected: Adjust the minimum and maximum values so each cart total matches only one row.
  • Shipping is missing at checkout: Confirm the destination matches a saved market, the shipping row is saved, the product requires shipping, and any connected service is ready.
