In Runner AI's backend system, you can complete all of these in one place:

  • Add products
  • Bulk import products

1. Create Your First Product

You can quickly add your first product in the backend.

Access: Admin → Products → Create

(1) Product information includes:

Basic Information

  • Product Title
  • Description
  • Category (optional)
  • Tags (optional)

Media Assets

  • Cover Image
  • AI-generated product images (coming soon)

💡 Tip: Upload 1–5 high-quality images to improve conversion rates.

Pricing Information

  • Price
  • Compare at Price → Used to display the original price before discount
  • Cost per item (optional)

Inventory Information

  • SKU (Stock Keeping Unit)
  • Inventory Quantity
  • Allow Oversell

Shipping Information

  • Product weight (if applicable)
  • Whether shipping is required

(2) Product creation tips:

  • Keep titles clear and concise
  • Maintain consistent image styles
  • Include key information in descriptions (materials, usage, etc.)
  • Add keywords for SEO (e.g., "natural soy candle for home decor")

2. Bulk Import with CSV

If you have many products (more than 20), we recommend using CSV import.

Access: Admin → Products → Import

(1) CSV format requirements:

  • Format must be .csv
  • English field names (platform will auto-recognize)
  • Images must be in URL format (if importing main images)
  • Cannot upload Excel (.xlsx) files

(2) Import tips:

  • Prepare your CSV file according to the template
  • Verify all required fields are filled
  • Use absolute URLs for product images
  • Test with a small batch first

3. Inventory Management

Access: Admin → Inventory

You can view:

  • Inventory quantity
  • Stock alerts
  • Units sold
  • Current sales channel (enabled when multi-channel support launches)

(1) Edit inventory

You can:

  • Manually increase/decrease inventory
  • Bulk operations
  • Export inventory reports (coming soon)

(2) Stock alerts

You can set reminders for low inventory, for example:

  • Alert when inventory is below 5 units
  • Automatically mark as "Almost Sold Out"

4. Pricing & Discounts

Pricing strategy is important and can affect your sales and user conversion.

Access: Admin → Promotion

You can create:

(1) Discount Codes

Examples:

  • WELCOME10 → 10% off
  • BLACKFRIDAY50 → $50 off

Settings include:

  • Discount type (percentage / fixed amount)
  • Applicable products (single item / site-wide)
  • Minimum purchase requirement
  • Usage limit
  • Start and end dates

(2) Flash Sales

  • Black Friday promotions
  • New product launch specials
  • Clearance events

💡 Pages will automatically display countdown modules (if enabled).

(3) Tiered Pricing

Suitable for wholesale or bundled sales, for example:

  • Buy 2 → 10% off
  • Buy 3 → 20% off

5. Order Management

Access: Admin → Orders

You can:

(1) View order details

Including:

  • Customer name
  • Address
  • Product information
  • Payment method
  • Delivery status

(2) Update order status

Supported statuses:

  • Unfulfilled (awaiting shipment)
  • Shipped (shipped)
  • Delivered (delivered)
  • Refunded (refunded)

(3) Export order reports

(4) Process refunds

You can:

  • Mark as refunded
  • Fill in refund reason
  • Generate refund certificate (coming soon)

6. Best Practices

✔ Upload at least 3–5 high-quality product images

Multi-angle displays can significantly improve conversion.

✔ Use clear titles

Good example:

Bad example:

"Candle"

✔ Use AI to optimize descriptions

Make copy more suitable for your target audience.
