Publish Your Store

(1) Why deploy?

Deployment (Publish) synchronizes the content you see in the visual editor to the cloud hosting environment, making your store accessible to users.

Deployment will:

  • Build your frontend pages
  • Sync your product data
  • Update website structure
  • Configure routes for your website
  • Push to secure CDN acceleration network

(2) How to deploy?

Step 1: Complete website editing

Check your:

  • Copy and content
  • Images and videos
  • Module layout
  • Header and footer
  • Products and categories

Step 2: Click Publish

Location:

  • Publish button in the top right corner

Step 3: Wait for build (approximately 5–6 minutes)

You can check deployment status in Home, including:

  • Building (in progress)
  • Success (completed)
  • Failed (deployment failed)

After successful deployment, your website will be live and accessible.

(3) Can content be modified after deployment?

Yes. Any modifications require redeployment to take effect for visitors.

(4) Deployment costs (Credits consumption)

Deployment itself does not consume Credits, but different payment tiers have deployment frequency limits.

General Settings

Basic information determines how your website appears in browsers, search engines, and social media.

Access path: Project Settings → General

You can modify:

(1) Store Name

Will be displayed in:

  • Browser tab
  • Search results
  • Some template page titles

(2) Store Description

Used for SEO and social sharing summaries.

(3) Brand Logo & Favicon

You can upload:

  • Logo (for webpage header or some templates)
  • Favicon (for browser tab)

After upload, Google will automatically index, helping with SEO.

Remove Runner AI Watermark

Websites generated through Runner AI will display "Powered by Runner AI" in the lower left corner by default.

You can turn this off at: Project Settings → General → Remove Watermark

Requirements:

  • Only available for Runner Plan and paid plan users
  • Once removed, all subsequent deployments will not display the watermark

Subdomain Settings

Each website is assigned a default Runner AI subdomain, for example:

your-store.runnerai.dev

You can customize this name:

Access: Project Settings → Domain

(1) Rules

  • Letters, numbers, and "-" allowed
  • Cannot start with numbers or symbols
  • Cannot use brands, trademarks, or sensitive words
  • Cannot use illegal/pornographic/hateful/political content

The system will automatically check and reject domain names containing sensitive words.

(2) Activation time

Usually 1-2 minutes.

First-time configuration may take slightly longer.

Custom Domain

If you purchased your own domain from GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare, or Alibaba Cloud, you can bind it to Runner AI.

Access: Project Settings → Domain → Custom Domain

(1) Binding steps

Step 1: Enter your purchased domain

Examples:

  • mybrand.com
  • shop.mydomain.com

Step 2: Complete DNS configuration

The system will provide:

  • CNAME record
  • Sometimes TXT verification record (depending on domain provider)

Add the corresponding records in your domain provider's backend.

Step 3: Automatic verification

After successful verification, your website will be live in 1-2 minutes.

Integrations

Through Integrations, you can:

  • Connect payment (Stripe / PayPal - planned)
  • Connect logistics platforms (e.g., EasyShip - planned)
  • Connect analytics tools (Google Analytics - planned)
  • Connect email (Gmail)

Q1: Do I need to deploy every time I update content?

Yes. Modifications must be deployed to take public effect.

Q2: Does deployment consume Credits?

No.

Q3: Can I bind multiple custom domains?

Yes.

Q4: Do I need technical expertise to bind a domain?

No, you just need to add a CNAME record at your domain provider.

Q5: Will deployment failure affect website access?

No, the old version will remain online.
