States and availability

Read common Runner page, button, task, store, and connection states and choose the safest next action.

Runner uses states to tell you whether an action is ready, waiting, complete, blocked, or unavailable. Read the state before retrying or changing settings.

Store and publication states

DraftedThe project does not currently have a live published version.Continue building and complete publication requirements.
DeployingRunner is preparing a publication.Wait for the state to finish; do not start repeated publications.
PublishedA live version exists.Open the live URL and verify the intended change.
Publish blockedOne or more required setup items are incomplete.Open the named requirement and finish it.
Republish availableThe draft contains changes newer than the live version.Review the preview, then republish when ready.

Task states

Waiting for youRunner needs an answer, choice, approval, or missing detail.Open the question and respond once.
WorkingThe current task is still running.Follow its details instead of starting a duplicate request.
CompletedRunner reached the task's terminal success state.Verify the visible result in the affected page.
StoppedWork ended before completion.Read why it stopped, correct the cause, then continue or send a focused follow-up.
FailedThe task could not finish.Save the visible error and retry only after checking the cause.

Page and control states

What you seeMeaning
Disabled buttonRequired input, permission, plan, or state is missing. Nearby text usually names it.
Loading skeleton or spinnerData is being requested. A persistent loading state needs a reload or support check.
Empty stateThe page is available but the selected context has no items yet. Use the offered create or connect action.
Upgrade messageThe current plan or limit does not allow the action. Review the live offer in Plan & Billing.
Connect or reconnectThe outside service is not connected or needs authorization again.
Page not foundThe URL is unavailable for the current context, retired, or gated. Return through visible navigation.

Runner version recovery

If Runner was updated while your tab was open, a full-screen recovery page can replace the current view. You cannot close it or use the page behind it until Runner loads a current copy.

A newer version of Runner is readySelect Load latest version to reload the current tab with the latest Runner version.
You're offlineLoad latest version is disabled. Reconnect to the internet; the action becomes available without leaving the recovery page.
Loading latest version…Runner is reloading the tab. Keep it open while the action finishes.
We couldn't load the latest versionCheck the connection, then select Try again.
Technical detailsExpands the error code, reason, and detection time for troubleshooting. It does not retry or repair the page.

Diagnose in order

  1. Confirm the selected workspace and store.
  2. Read the nearest status, warning, or prerequisite.
  3. Check whether the relevant task is already running.
  4. Confirm your role, plan, publication state, and required app connection.
  5. Reload once if the state should have just changed.
  6. Use the relevant troubleshooting guide before repeating a high-impact action.
