Acceptable Use Policy
Runner AI Acceptable Use Policy governing the use of our services
Runner AI Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") is issued by Adaptive Machines, Inc. ("Runner AI", "we", "us") and governs your use of the Runner AI services.
The main rule for using Runner AI is: You are responsible for following the law, the rules of your partners, and your agreements with us.
These are the principles behind our expectations in more detail:
You can't use Runner AI to do anything that's illegal where you do business
We understand laws and regulatory frameworks can be complex, but in choosing a market to enter and products to sell, you, the merchant, are making a commitment to take that market seriously, and we trust and expect you to understand applicable boundaries. You must likewise respect that certain business activities are not supported by our platform, such as uploading Protected Health Information subject to HIPAA.
You should Uphold Platform Integrity and Safety
We are committed to maintaining a safe and trustworthy commercial environment. Activities that harm the integrity of our platform or the safety of our users are strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to:
Illegal and Regulated Goods
Selling counterfeit goods, illegal drugs, weapons, or any other products that are illegal in your jurisdiction or your customers'.
Intellectual Property Infringement
Violating the intellectual property rights of others, including copyrights and trademarks.
Hate, Violence, and Harmful Content
Selling products or publishing content that promotes hatred, discrimination, violence, or facilitates intentional self-harm.
Fraud and Deception
Engaging in deceptive marketing, financial scams, or any other fraudulent activities.
Platform Abuse
Sending spam, distributing malware, or attempting to disrupt our services.
Specific Rules Regarding AI Features
Your use of any artificial intelligence features within Runner AI ("AI Features") is subject to the following additional terms:
a. Responsibility for Input
You are solely responsible for all text, data, and information you provide to the AI Features ("Input"). You agree not to provide any Input that is illegal, infringes on third-party rights, or contains sensitive personal information.
b. Accuracy and Responsibility for Output
The content generated by the AI Features ("Output") may contain errors. You must independently review and verify all Output before publishing or relying on it. Runner AI is not liable for any damages resulting from your use of the Output.
c. Prohibited Uses of AI Features
You may not use the AI Features to generate deceptive content, create hateful or harassing content, or produce spam.
You need to follow our agreements with you
While we don't want to burden you with a lot of paperwork, our Terms of Service are important for how we operate. Our agreements bind you as a merchant and explain the platform rules you must follow.
Runner AI offers a range of products and services that leverage partnerships with other organizations. When you use one of these products, you are interacting with an entire supply chain of businesses. Runner AI involves an ecosystem of processors working together. If you use these services, you need to respect how the supply chain works and what terms are asked of you.
The most common product eligibility disputes originate from outside of Runner AI
We are a commerce platform: most product eligibility or takedown disputes that entrepreneurs may encounter originate from outside Runner AI, including from regulators and third-party IP rights holders. In these circumstances, we'll give you notice and tools to self-manage your risks and disputes when appropriate.
We expect you to act in good faith. If you don't, account-level action may be appropriate
We don't like to see people try to "game" systems to avoid constraints they don't agree with. We also don't tolerate anyone defrauding Runner AI, other merchants, or buyers, using our platform to send spam, or for other malicious practices. In those cases, while we try to minimize impact to business as a first-order principle, account-level action is oftentimes more appropriate.
When you build on Runner AI with these principles in mind, we will give you notice, grant you opportunities to self-remediate conflicts, default to enforcement at the product level, and take account-level action as a last resort when appropriate. Finally, as with all great products, we expect to iterate on and update these principles from time to time.
