Manage stores

Switch to the right store, create another project, and find its settings.

Use the store-name menu to choose which store Runner should work on. Each store has its own tasks, storefront, and settings.

Entry path: Current store name at the top of the sidebar → store menu.

Before you start

Open this menu to choose a store or start Create Store. Check the name again after switching.

Control	What happens
Current store name	Opens the store menu.
Another store name	Opens that store and its tasks.
Create Store	Opens the creation dialog; a plan message can appear if you have reached the store limit.
Workspace Settings	Opens settings for the workspace, rather than the store.
Sidebar Settings	Opens settings for the current store.
Store General → Delete Store	Opens the removal confirmation. Review the named store before proceeding.

Select the current store name at the top of the sidebar.
Find the store you intend to work on.
Select its name and wait for navigation to finish.
Confirm the new store name in the sidebar.
Open its current task or Storefront to check that you are in the right project before sending instructions.

If your account opens an empty workspace instead, use its creation prompt. A workspace with no stores has nothing to switch to yet.

Open the store-name menu and select Create Store.
Choose the available store type. Use the Runner creation path for a new store, or Connect Shopify for an existing Shopify shop when offered.
Enter the required Store Name and complete that path.
Wait for Runner to open the project.
Confirm the new name appears in the store menu. Creation does not publish the store.

Switch to the store you intend to remove.
Open sidebar Settings and the store’s General section.
Find Delete Store and read the confirmation.
Verify the store name and the listed consequences.
Cancel if you need to keep the store. Enter the required store name and confirm only when you intend to delete it.
After a confirmed deletion, check that the store is no longer available in the active store list.

Deletion is destructive. Use a different store from the menu if you only wanted to switch projects.

What you see	What to do
Store list is loading	Wait before selecting or creating another store.
A store is missing	Confirm your workspace membership and the workspace you opened. Do not create a duplicate just because the list has not loaded.
Creation opens an upgrade path	Review the current public plans or ask the workspace owner about capacity.
Creation returned an error	Check whether a new store already appears before starting another attempt.
Store settings are unavailable	Confirm the selected store and your role. Ask a workspace owner or admin for access.
Renewal screen	Reactivate the workspace if authorized, or use another workspace you can access.
